About the organization
Dreamnature is a non-profit organization working to empower communities to domesticate native trees for people and nature through integrated, science- and indigenous knowledge-based approaches.
Is grounded in applied research on native tree species, originating from a study on Anisophyllea boehmii conducted by its founder, Aron Katosho, in fulfillment of the requirements for a Bachelor of Science in Forestry at Sokoine University of Agriculture.

The strategy of 2026-2030, positions Dreamnature as a key stakeholder aligned with the Tanzania National Forest Policy (1998), the Forest Act No. 14 of 2002, and national priorities for sustainable provision of agro-based ecosystem goods and services. It complements the NEOAS 2023–2030, Agroforestry Strategy II (2024–2031), and NAFORMA III (2021–2031), which emphasize community participation, in-situ and ex-situ conservation, and resilience-based land management. The strategy also contributes to the UN SDGs, particularly SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 15 (Life on Land).
Dreamnature’s strategy is organized around two overarching thematic areas: For People and For Nature, reflecting the organization’s commitment to community livelihoods while restoring native tree-based ecosystems.
And the motive slogan is.
FOR PEOPLE. FOR NATURE.
