Dreamnature Welcomes SES on board as Knowledge Exchange Partner

A new collaboration to support international knowledge exchange, youth empowerment and sustainable development

We are thrilled to announce a new chapter in Dreamnature’s journey of impact and collaboration: Our organization has officially joined hands with the German Senior Expert Service (SES) and the African German Youth Office (AGYO).

Following an on-site visit by Nadja Zdichavsky, the SES Coordinator of Tanzania, to our head office in Morogoro in September 2024 and an evaluation of our organization, the SES assigned one of its experts, Dr. Claus Eppe, to support our fundraising, networking and partnership efforts. Dr. Eppe’s professional expertise and many years of experience in these fields will significantly strengthen our fundraising strategies and partnerships, enhancing our ability to implement high-impact projects focused on native tree domestication and community-led conservation.

Next to this, Dreamnature has been selected as a participating organization for “Team works!”, a joint program of the SES and AGYO funded by Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). This program enables the exchange of young professionals from African countries and Germany, who are mentored by experienced experts from SES. Thus, as part of the program, Dreamnature will be hosting a young professional from Germany in the fields of ecology and sustainability, Anika Pahl. Afterwards, one of our team members will be sent to Germany in exchange. Furthermore, we will continue to engage young scientists and students through the internship opportunities offered via AGYO, complementing our ongoing Workaway program, which has hosted volunteers and students from around the world since 2023.

Both Anika Pahl and Dr. Claus Eppe will join us for three weeks in August 2025, on-site in Morogoro. We are excited for interesting workshops, conversations, and driving Dreamnature’s mission forward!

If you are interested in learning more about our collaboration with SES through the expert assignment or the “Team works!” program, happily reach out to us.
